Morning, transfer to airport for flight to MYITKYINA. On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Afternoon visit to LANGCHYI TOWER; HSU TAUNG PYI CEDI, a "wish-fulfilling" pagoda built by King Alaungsithu.
Overnight in Myitkyina.

Breakfast. Morning, drive through remote areas to PHARKANT, the famous "Land of Jade". Scenery is interesting, but the road is very bad, heavily pot-holed and bumpy.
Afternoon, visit the work sites of jade mines to observe the process of jade production from extraction washing and sorting, to cutting and polishing.
Overnight in Pharkant.

Breakfast. Morning, drive to INDAWGYI LAKE, the largest lake in Myanmar and proceed by boat to INDAWGYI PAGODA, located in the center of the lake.
Afternoon, drive back to MYITKYINA.
Overnight in Myitkyina.

Excursion to MYITSONE, where the mountain streams of MAIKHA AND MALIKHA rush down from Mt. Hkakaborazi to form the AYEYARWADDY RIVER.
Afternoon, transfer to MYITKYINA Airport for flight to Yangon.
