Imagine floating over thousand year old pagodas and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, as the sun sinks slowly behind distant mountains.

The sunrise and sunset champagne flights last just under one hour and take off daily from October 5, 2003 through to the end of March 2004. The balloon is guided by gentle winds not exceeding 15 mph, allowing passengers a serene and peaceful bird's-eye view of ancient temples drifting by. Using his skill the pilot is able to guide the balloon to a gentle landing on the banks of the Ayeyarwaddy River, or in an open field, where our friendly crew and a celebratory glass of champagne will be on hand.

"Balloons over Bagan" operates 4 balloons every day of the week: 2 of these have a capacity of 4 passengers each, and 2 have a capacity of 8 passengers each. All balloons are flown by experienced expatriate pilots.

There are no age restrictions on who can fly. Passengers should be fit enough to climb in and out of the basket and be able to stand for about an hour. Young children, the disabled and pregnant women may have to be restricted to very calm weather conditions.

Commercial passenger ballooning has the best safety record of all forms of air transport. 'Balloons over Bagan's pilots and technicians are all qualified and registered in the UK. The balloons, which are built to the highest standards of the British aerospace industry, are provided by Cameron Balloons Limited, the world's largest manufacturer of high quality balloons.

The balloon basket provides an excellent platform for photography, with unrestricted views of the whole Bagan Valley. Cameras and any other valuables will have to be stored in the safety pouches just before landing.

In a word, "No". A balloon does not sway or tilt in flight so you will feel very secure.

The balloon is insured for two million dollars, third party and passenger liability.

Flying hour is 45 minute, fly twice daily in the season between October 2005 and March 2006. If you have group of 6 person we also take care on Charter basis too.
